When is the pub open?
Monday – Thursday: 4pm until late (10pm ish)
Friday – Sunday Midday – late (10pm-12am ish)
When is food service?
Monday– Thursday: Service from 5pm, last reservations at 8:45pm.
Friday – Saturday: Service from noon, last reservations at 9:30pm.
Sunday: Service from noon, last reservations at 7:45pm.
Do you offer any vegetarian or vegan options on your menu?
Yes, we have a variety of vegetarian options, they are noted with a (v) on our menu here and some vegan options are available. Please check our online menu for detailed offerings or inform our staff about your dietary requirements when you visit, feel free to get in touch via our contact page here.
Can I book a table in advance?
Absolutely! We recommend making a reservation, especially during weekends and holidays. You can book a table by clicking here or giving us a call on (03) 8383 1025.
Please be aware that parties over 14 people will be served a reduced streamlined menu to ensure prompt delivery of your orders. It still has our most popular items but does remove our more time consuming to prepare dishes. You can download a copy here.
Is there parking available?
There is limited on street parking available on Mt Alexander Road, the surrounding side streets are 1 hour parking zones. Paid parkings are available nearby at the Secure Parking – 24 Gladstone Street Car Park, Secure Parking – 315 Ascot Vale Road Car Park and there is a free unattended Car Park on Dean St.

Are children allowed in the pub?
Children are welcome at Mt Alexander Hotel when accompanied by an adult. However, we request that children remain supervised at all times for their safety and the comfort of other guests.
Can I bring my dog to the pub?
We are dog friendly and will have a water bowl waiting for your four legged friend 🙂
Do you offer takeaway?
Yes we have a take away liquor licence. Ask at the bar for what’s on offer

Cakeage:
Mt Alexander welcome you to bring in external cakes / desserts to celebrate birthdays / anniversaries etc but please be aware that we do charge $5 per person up to a maximum of $50 as a cakeage fee which will be applied to your bill.
